Accessibility Statement
The Open Door
This keep is meant to be entered by everyone
Last sealed 3 August 2026
1. Our commitment
Warborn Blades is committed to making this Site usable by everyone, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or who are sensitive to motion and light.
We measure ourselves against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat that standard as the floor, not the ceiling.
2. Still Air — our photosensitivity safeguard
This is a dark keep lit by fire, and fire moves. Every visitor may turn that movement off. The Still Air control, present on every page, freezes all ambient animation — embers, torchlight, fog, dust, and drifting light — and the choice is remembered on your device.
Still Air is also applied automatically, before the first frame is drawn, when your operating system reports a preference for reduced motion. No visitor should ever see a single flicker they did not consent to.
By standing rule of this House, no light on this Site loops faster than 3 Hz, and no red light strobes. Sound never startles: it swells.
3. What we have done
Semantic HTML landmarks and headings; text alternatives for meaningful imagery; visible keyboard focus; accessible names on icon-only controls; colour contrast held to AA against our dark palette; touch targets sized for the hand; and no content that depends on colour alone to be understood.
4. Known limitations — stated plainly
The March, our tactical field, is a spatial game board. Parts of it are difficult to convey through a screen reader alone, and we have not yet achieved full parity there. Nothing in the March is required to browse, price, or purchase any item.
Some supplier-provided product imagery arrives without descriptive text; we write our own where we can and continue to work through the catalog.
We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party accessibility audit. When we do, we will publish the date and the result here.
5. If something blocks you
Write to accessibility@warbornblades.com and tell us the page and what stopped you. We acknowledge within 3 business days and will work with you until the task is done — and if a barrier cannot be removed quickly, a person of this House will complete the order or answer the question for you directly.
You will never be charged more, offered less, or treated differently for needing a different door.
