The items sold by this House are sharp, heavy, and dangerous. They are functional edged and impact instruments capable of causing severe injury, permanent disability, and death. They are not toys, novelties, costume properties, or decorative items, regardless of how they are displayed.

By purchasing, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risk of injury, loss, or damage arising from the possession, handling, storage, sharpening, modification, display, transport, and use of any item, including risk arising from ordinary use.

You accept full responsibility for safe storage, including keeping items out of the reach of children and of any person not competent or permitted to handle them.

No item is warranted as suitable for self-defence, combat, professional, industrial, martial-arts, stage, or reenactment use. Many items are of decorative or collector construction and may fail catastrophically under stress or impact. Do not strike, spar, throw, chop, or test any item unless the maker expressly rates it for that use.

Sharpness, edge geometry, hardness, and finish vary. Every blade should be treated as capable of cutting to the bone.

Sharpening, regrinding, heat-treating, refitting, re-handling, or otherwise altering an item voids any remedy and transfers all resulting liability to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release the House, its owners, agents, and suppliers from all claims for injury, death, or property damage arising from any item purchased, whether caused by the item, by your use of it, or by the act of any third party.
