The Pocket Knives

Trappers, stockmen, barlows and their kin. Carried every day, handed down at the end.

The great pieces stand at the front where the torches are brightest; the small ones wait further in, in the dark.

About Pocket Knives

Pocket knives for sale at Warborn Blades — trappers, stockmen, barlows, and their kin. The patterns that were carried every day and handed down at the end. A traditional pocket knife is a slip-joint: the blade opens under spring tension and closes the same way, with no lock to fail and no mechanism to maintain.

When choosing a pocket knife, the pattern tells you what it was built for. A stockman carries three blades for different tasks; a trapper carries two for dressing game; a barlow carries one heavy blade in a long handle. The steel is usually a high-carbon or stainless variety that balances edge retention with ease of sharpening on a stone or a strop.

Every piece in this hall is held by a licensed dealer and ships from the United States. The Herald's guide to keeping an edge covers stropping and storage so the folder you carry stays sharp for years.

Questions at the Door

What pocket knives does Warborn Blades carry?
203 pieces stand in The Pocket Knives today — folding pocketknives of the old patterns. Trappers, stockmen, barlows and their kin. Carried every day, handed down at the end. Every piece is held by Warborn Blades as a licensed dealer of melee arms and armor, and ships from the United States.
How much do pocket knives cost?
In this hall the crown runs from $36.99 to $504.99, with the middle of the rack near $55.99. Every price shown is the price paid — no hidden dues are added at the vow beyond lawful sales tax and carriage.
How long are these pieces?
They measure 6.7" to 7.6" overall. Each ware page states its own reach; where a measure was not given by the forge, we say plainly that our reckoning is an estimate rather than pretend to a number we were not told.
Do I have to be eighteen to buy?
Yes. Warborn Blades sells edged and impact arms only to buyers eighteen years or older, and the gate verifies age before any steel is shown. Some states and cities restrict particular patterns; the buyer is responsible for the law where the parcel lands.
What if the steel arrives damaged or is not what I wanted?
Unblooded steel may be sent back within 30 days of arrival. There is never a restocking toll — the full price of the piece comes back to you. The road home is yours to pay, unless the piece came to harm on the road, was faulty, or was not what you ordered; then the house bears the carriage both ways. Speak to the Steward's Ear and a return writ is issued the same hour, or call the house at 1-800-368-8131.
