Warborn Blades

The Gate Stands Guard

Beyond this point lies a real armory of edged steel — swords, axes, daggers, bowies and other melee arms. By law and by honor, no one under the age of eighteen may pass.

Why the iron stands before the coin

When our Lady Founder was eleven years old, a nine year old friend of hers — her neighbor, two doors down — found her father’s .38 Special revolver, shot herself accidentally, and died. That little girl did not even know what a gun was, or what guns are used for.

Negligence among adults is appalling. Negligence toward our children is unacceptable evil. She will not let such a child wander into this house and lay hold of our steel — not for one hundred sales, not ever.

So understand this before you pass: we verify your age upon the purchase of steel — always, for every soul, without exception. Before any vow is sealed and any coin is taken, you must present positive photo identification to an independent, accredited verification house. Warborn Blades never sees, holds, or stores your document or your likeness — only the sealed word that you are of age.

If you are not yet eighteen, turn back now. There is no shame in it.

Leave — I am not yet of age

Entry confirms you are at least eighteen years of age and will abide by all local, state and federal laws regarding the purchase, possession and carriage of bladed weapons. Misrepresentation of age is a breach of trust.

Who stands behind this gate

Your papers are never ours

An independent, accredited verification house reads the document. Warborn Blades never sees, holds or stores your identification or your likeness — only the sealed word that you are of age.

No coin is asked at this gate

Nothing is charged, no card is taken and no account is required to pass the rite. The gate is proof of age and nothing else.

The Dragon Seal is our provenance

Every piece the house carries answers to the Seal — real steel, honestly described, sourced from named forges under written terms.

Still air

This castle moves — torchlight, drifting fog, rising embers. If flashing or pulsing light is unsafe for you, still the air before you enter. Your choice is remembered.

The charter-bound are not stopped here

Prove your age once at the rite, take the Annual Charter, and the gate never asks you for papers again while your standing holds — alongside the charter-only price on every piece of steel and carriage borne by the house above $300. The Charter Hall waits just inside the door.

A Letter Nailed to the Gate

What is kept behind this door has never been built before

Traveller — before you show your papers at this gate, know what you are entering.

Within these walls the house keeps seven inventions of its own making, all now standing on record with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The first is the March — a war table where the steel that fights is the true steel in our armory, measured by its own length, weight and temper, and where the spoils of the field are minted into binding offers against that same armory. The second is the Veil — the means by which a merchant’s source is kept from the eyes of the world, and the instrument that reads any storefront and tells it plainly what it has been leaking. The third is the Seal of Provenance — every piece that leaves this wall is struck with a code the house will answer for, so that any hand which later holds the steel may prove it genuine. The fourth is the Consent Governance Layer — the four gates that make every agent of this house structurally incapable of acting outside the charter it was given. The fifth is the Cartographer — a law-bound hand that authors a game, judges its own work by a separate eye, and sends it out to a distant compiler without ever slipping its leash. The sixth is the Convergence — the gate that opens a piece of this armory only to a hand that has proved its learning in more than one school. The seventh is the Governed Presence Agent — the law by which a presence standing in a real room may act, refuse, and leave a record a stranger can read.

No other armory on this earth fights with its own inventory, veils its own forges, or seals its own steel. That is the whole reason to come in.
