The Axes

The oldest argument ever settled by hand. Weight at the head, will at the haft.

The great pieces stand at the front where the torches are brightest; the small ones wait further in, in the dark.

About Battle Axes

Battle axes and tomahawks for sale at Warborn Blades — hafted steel from working hatchets to medieval war axes. The axe is the oldest edged tool humanity forged, and the argument it settles has not changed. What separates a battle axe from a felling axe is the weight distribution: a war axe carries its mass at the head for striking, not at the haft for splitting.

When choosing an axe, look at the steel of the head and the grain of the haft. Carbon steel holds an edge and is easier to re-sharpen in the field; stainless resists rust but is harder to bring back once dulled. The haft should be hardwoord — hickory or ash — fitted tight and wedged, not glued. Every ware page states the head steel, the overall length, and the weight where the forge declares it.

The house carries functional battle axes, decorative pieces, and throwing tomahawks. Each is held by a licensed dealer and ships from the United States. The Herald's guide to axe types explains the difference between a bearded axe, a Danish axe, and a tomahawk before you choose.

Questions at the Door

What battle axes & tomahawks does Warborn Blades carry?
26 pieces stand in The Axes today — hafted steel, hatchets and tomahawks. The oldest argument ever settled by hand. Weight at the head, will at the haft. Every piece is held by Warborn Blades as a licensed dealer of melee arms and armor, and ships from the United States.
How much do battle axes & tomahawks cost?
In this hall the crown runs from $29.00 to $309.99, with the middle of the rack near $154.99. Every price shown is the price paid — no hidden dues are added at the vow beyond lawful sales tax and carriage.
How long are these pieces?
They measure 7.3" to 42" overall. Each ware page states its own reach; where a measure was not given by the forge, we say plainly that our reckoning is an estimate rather than pretend to a number we were not told.
Do I have to be eighteen to buy?
Yes. Warborn Blades sells edged and impact arms only to buyers eighteen years or older, and the gate verifies age before any steel is shown. Some states and cities restrict particular patterns; the buyer is responsible for the law where the parcel lands.
What if the steel arrives damaged or is not what I wanted?
Unblooded steel may be sent back within 30 days of arrival. There is never a restocking toll — the full price of the piece comes back to you. The road home is yours to pay, unless the piece came to harm on the road, was faulty, or was not what you ordered; then the house bears the carriage both ways. Speak to the Steward's Ear and a return writ is issued the same hour, or call the house at 1-800-368-8131.
