The Price Covenant

A house sets a floor beneath a piece and every permitted seller swears to it. When a price is seen beneath that floor the break is measured, not merely noted — a channel we do not own weighs heavier than our own shelf, and a fifteen-per-cent break weighs heavier than a two. A broken floor is rarely the crime. It is almost always the warning that the crime already happened upstream.
