The Livery of the Seal

One mark. Three colours. A buyer should know from across a hall whether they are looking at a community, a dealer or a forge — and be able to check every one of them against the same open register.

The Yellow Seal — Communities

Guilds, fighting clubs, faire courts, LARP fields, HEMA halls, SCA groups.

How it is earned
Named on the Carrier's Roll, a standing field or hall, and a public page where the seal can hang.
What the bearer gets
Free Lawful Edge readings, the field calendar early, members' lessons from the Commons, and a place on the house's own roll.

How it is earned

The law of the mark

A seal is not a possession and it is never sold. It is granted on a reading, written into a register anyone may search, and struck from that register the same day a bearer stops deserving it. Colour changes nothing about that: yellow, orange and red are all withdrawn the same way.
